After extensive research and development, Aspen has created a revolutionary anti-siphoning device which will prevent its pumps from siphoning.

The truly unique device provides a solution to a problem many installers are facing on a regular basis. In the near future, only Aspen’s mini pumps will provide a complete siphoning free solution.

Siphoning in mini pump installation occurs when a discharge tube has a rise and large fall in the line. Any water below the reservoir level under the influence of gravity pulls the remaining water through the pump.

Siphoning can cause severe damage to a mini pump as the pump will run dry for a period of time resulting in premature wear, increased noise levels and ultimately may cause the pump to stop working.

Any mini pump can be prone to this phenomenon.

As from January 2012*, the Anti Siphoning Device will be included which each Aspen mini pump - free of charge!

Aspen believes their range of mini pumps will be even more in favour with installers as the pump quality and reliability is now combined with even faster and easier installation and complete peace of mind.

*Aspen will start putting in the devices as from the start of next year, however it can take several months for certain products to find themselves in the market, depending on stock levels.
