At Aspen we are proud of our high quality, reliable condensate removal pumps. Please beware of counterfeit pumps falsely claiming to be genuine Aspen products. Do not take the risk of buying a low quality pump which could cause major material losses.

Apen mini pumps are fully potted. This prevents water / condensate ingress and protects the pump. As competitor’s pumps are not fully potted, this could lead condensate ingress to cause electrical issues and causes the pump to fail (it is also very dangerous!). The potential water damage that counterfeit products can create to offices, houses and businesses should not be underestimated.

Please be alert to counterfeit condensate removal pumps imported from the Far East:

• Counterfeit copies of Aspen’s most successful products, currently include the Mini Lime, Mini Orange and Mini Blanc.
• These products bear many of the marks and trade dress of our pumps making them very hard to distinguish externally from authentic Aspen product.
• Aspen has filed several trademarks and patents to protect various inventions and innovations.
• The design colour and name Aspen Pumps are legally protected.

LIFETIME:
Further tests were carried out to determine the overall life-time of Aspen Pumps vs. counterfeit models. The average continuous working period of a counterfeit pump is 950 hours. Aspen’s mini pumps are designed to operate up to a minimum of 2,000 hours continuous operation, with records of up to 8,000 hours.

PERFORMANCE:
Laboratory testing proved performance of counterfeit pumps is far below the performance claimed:

• Tests indicated noise levels are far higher with approx. 26dB(A) – 28dB(A) in comparison to Aspen pumps 19dB(A) or lower (Silent+ Mini Orange)
  
• Counterfeit pumps do not have the same capability to pump water to a higher altitude (head) as the Aspen Pumps
• Test results show that these pumps perform well below the performance level of Aspen products (significant power loss at a higher head)
