Aspen Pumps acquires Salina SAS
Sussex based ACR specialist Aspen Pumps Group, has acquired its French distributor Salina SAS for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition extends Aspen Pumps’ global footprint, adding an administrative office in Paris, and an operational hub in Normandy (Pavilly), making Aspen the largest supplier of ACR ancillaries in Europe.
Salina SAS has been pivotal in making Aspen a market leader in France, and the acquisition is a natural development in a close trading relationship that has lasted over 20 years. The significant investment underpins 3i’s commitment to establish Aspen as the undisputed market leader. Alongside the acquisition of German distributor Malessa & Schüller in 2016, this will allow the company to continue developing their market leading proposition to wholesalers across the continent.
In addition to Aspen’s condensate pumps, Salina SAS also distributes the full Aspen offering including Aspen Xtra installation accessories and the Big Foot Systems range of rooftop supports.
Adrian Thompson, CEO of the Aspen Pump Group said: “Salina is a great company that has built its market position through a dedication to excellent service and customer relationships.”
The Salina acquisition strengthens the Aspen Pump Groups international trading platform, cementing our position as a global leader in the ACR market.
