Aspen Pumps Staff are Racing for Life
Staff from Hailsham-based Aspen Pumps are taking on the challenge of Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life to raise money for research into over 200 types of cancer. The eight-strong team of women are currently training for the event, which takes place in Eastbourne at Sports Park, Cross Levels Way, on Sunday 18th June at 11am.
The team members are Laura Reeve, Suzanna Lake, Mirander Reilly (with her daughter Alana), Agnieszka Hein, Jo McGilvary, Lauren Newby, Laura Hall and Tina Lorch (with her daughter Willow). With training well underway, the team is looking for as much support as possible and donations would be gratefully received at https://fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/team/aspen-pumps-team.
“We are delighted to be supporting Cancer Research UK by taking part in the Race for Life. They fund life-saving research into all types of cancer and so we are hoping to raise lots of much needed funds” said team member Laura Hall. “We are looking forward to the event.”
Cancer Research UK are world leaders in finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer. They receive no government funding for their research so rely on donations and the money generated by events such as Race for Life. Find out more at https://raceforlife.cancerresearchuk.org/
